FAQ

Everything you need to know.

What is PhemePulse?

+

PhemePulse is a simple website analytics tool that tells you what visitors do on your site — in plain English. No charts, no dashboards, no jargon. Just clear summaries like "a visitor read your homepage for 5 seconds, then scrolled to pricing and left."

How do I add PhemePulse to my website?

+

Copy one script tag and paste it into your website HTML, just before the closing </body> tag. That's it — no configuration, no data attributes, no setup wizard.

What counts as a session?

+

A session is one visitor opening your website in a browser tab. If they browse around in the same tab, it's still one session. Refreshing or coming back later starts a new session.

Do I need to add anything to my HTML?

+

No. Just the script tag. PhemePulse automatically detects what parts of the page visitors are looking at based on their scroll position — no need to annotate your HTML.

Does PhemePulse use cookies?

+

No. PhemePulse uses sessionStorage which only lasts until the tab is closed. No cookies are set, and no personal information is collected.

Is PhemePulse GDPR compliant?

+

Yes. PhemePulse collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and stores no identifiers that persist across sessions. You don't need a cookie banner for PhemePulse.

What happens when I run out of free sessions?

+

PhemePulse still tracks your visitors — you won't lose any data. But the AI-powered summaries will be paused until you add credits. You'll see a basic summary instead.

Can I use PhemePulse on multiple websites?

+

Yes. One account can manage unlimited websites. Paid session credits are shared across all your sites.

How are the reports generated?

+

PhemePulse tracks which parts of the page visitors look at and for how long, then uses AI to write a natural summary of their journey — like a friend explaining what they saw.

Can I cancel anytime?

+

There's nothing to cancel. Credits are pay-as-you-go — buy them when you need them. No subscription, no auto-renewal.
